Participatory budgets 2020-2021
A participatory process is a sequence of participatory activities (e.g. first filling out a survey, then making proposals, discussing them in face-to-face or virtual meetings, and finally prioritizing them) with the aim of defining and making a decision on a specific topic.
Examples of participatory processes are: a process of electing committee members (where candidatures are first presented, then debated and finally a candidacy is chosen), participatory budgets (where proposals are made, valued economically and voted on with the money available), a strategic planning process, the collaborative drafting of a regulation or norm, the design of an urban space or the production of a public policy plan.
The City Council of Esparreguera starts up the participatory budgets again.
As part of this process, the public will be able to propose and decide € 200,000 of the investments that will be carried out from the Budget of the year 2020.
Citizens may submit investment proposals that improve the public space or municipal facilities for their modernization, adaptation, repair, conservation or maintenance. Some examples of investments could be:
Acquisition of street furniture items.
Improvements in the field of new technologies.
Improvements in municipal equipment, sidewalks and roads, lighting, road signs, parks, gardens, sewers, etc.
Proposals for investment must meet the requirements set out in the regulatory framework. They will be presented electronically through the web platform decidix.esparreguera.cat.
At the same time, those participants who do not have the digital means necessary to submit their proposal electronically, can be sent in person to the Office of Citizen Service of the City Council of Esparreguera and other points enabled to these effects that will be located in the municipality, in order to receive the necessary assistance to present your proposal.
Any entity and / or person, registered or not in the town of Esparreguera, will be able to present the proposal that they think appropriate. Each person or entity can present as many as they like.
